SPRING / SUMMER 2027

The journey towards the new SS27 collection began around May 2026.. I remember Thoroughfare by Ethel Cain playing on the turntable, and somewhere between the sounds and the words of the song, I found myself thinking that there was perhaps nothing more burdened with meaning than the very notion of a journey.

I have always perceived myself as a stranger — someone exiled from home, searching for a new one. This image naturally touches upon my own story. From this thought, the name Exilium emerged — a space between exile and finding refuge, between falling, separation, and the desire to belong somewhere.

The theme of the journey became a natural ground for further research, while also serving as a bridge between the previous chapter and the one yet to come. My longstanding fascination with iconography and Renaissance art meets here with the spiritual dimension of the journey — a movement between Earth, exile, and heaven. The romanticism and nostalgia for the Victorian era further deepen this world, giving it its own sense of time, as if past and present were meeting for a moment along the same road.

Heavy cotton canvas becomes the foundation of the garments, much like a painter’s canvas upon which a new image can emerge. Frayed edges remain part of their existence — carrying traces of time, movement, and physical experience. Lightweight cotton fabrics, layered over the body, create a delicate emotional shield. Covering the body becomes a way of protecting the experience of the journey, while a neutral palette carries the story throughout. New natural shades further anchor it in the image of a long summer journey, where only dust, sand, and time remain.

The journey has shaped me throughout my entire life. It is a place each of us enters sooner or later. A place where we learn, grow, and gradually come to know ourselves. Along the way, we meet people who change us and make us stronger. And if we are fortunate, we meet those who remain with us.

People who surround and strengthen us, who become the ones we can rely on. And so we continue together, until we find a place we can call home. A refuge where we are welcomed.

Our Exilium.
Our Heaven.
